Understanding the role that I play in this final project is crucial as I am working in a team and my teammates are dependent on the things that I have to do in order for our project to thrive in the way that we want it to.
As my main job is the producer I did some research on what role producers usually play while filming a movie. I learned that they make all major decisions. Producers will either choose and secure the rights to scripts or come up with plot ideas. They choose the film's scope and budget and secure funding from financiers, studios, and distributors.
After learning about these jobs that I must do, I have started to plan with careful deliberation. I am making lists of things we require and making sure they fit into our budget. I am also constantly working on the script to make sure it is perfect. Along with all these things, I am also helping my friend Salaar who is the director as I am the assistant director as well. Wherever he needs help, I pitch in my ideas. Most of all, as I'm working in a team, I am making sure to keep all my teammates in the loop so that we all work together.
